After an incredible curriculum journey and rigorous selection process with a panel made up of Australian Red Cross Humanitech, Australian Red Cross programs, QBE Foundation and the Global Disaster Preparedness Centre, we have selected these outstanding companies who are focused on transforming our world and leading the charge in building a more resilient and sustainable future.

Our finalists are:

  3. WEO - democratises access to environmental information using data from space and artificial intelligence to build a more sustainable future

Congratulations to each of our finalists for their strong performance in the challenge's first stage, including participation in our curriculum series, excellent pilot submissions and interviews.

As our finalists move into the next stage of the challenge, they will be taking part in bootcamp sessions that include humanitarian systems integration and data protection, pilot community connections, and are followed by a live final pitch event with our expert panel.

The final winner of the QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge Humanitarian Breakout Track will be announced at the Humanitech Summit in Melbourne in November. This final event will include an incredible program of speakers and a showcase of the Humanitarian Breakout Track pilot, to demonstrate the unique and community-led opportunity it presents for the winner.

Made possible by our partners QBE Insurance and Leading Cities, the challenge invited entrepreneurs from around the globe to submit their software solutions for community climate adaptation. and we received some incredible responses overall. Thank you to all entrepreneurs who took part, and to the global collective of mentors and experts who supported their journey.
